Appointments, rescheduling, & cancelling, oh my!

Cancellation Policy

​We value your time and ours, and we want to ensure that we can provide quality care to all families who need support. This is a courtesy to Nurture Omaha employees, our limited patient availability, and to our current and prospective patients. Please review the following cancellation policy that applies to all scheduled appointments:

Private Lactation Consultations:

Appointments are not booked until paperwork is filled out and a card is added on file. If you do not receive a text or email confirmation after filling out paperwork, your appointment is not booked. Appointments are offered on a first-come-first-served basis. Failure to fill out paperwork risks the appointment slot being filled by someone else.

  • After Booking: A $50 cancellation fee will be charged for any appointment canceled after booking.

  • Within 48 Hours of Appointment: A $100 cancellation fee will be charged if the appointment is canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled time.

  • Within 12 Hours of Appointment: Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged the full session fee ($200).

No-shows will also be charged the full session fee.

 

Group classes and events:

  • After Booking: NO REFUNDS will be given. Classes and events are paid in full upon booking. Classes and events are not booked until payment is received.

 

Car Seat Consultations:

  • After Booking: NO REFUNDS will be given. Car seat consultations are paid in full upon booking. Car seat consultations are not booked until payment is received.

 

Exceptions:

  • Cancellation fees may be waived on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the owner for emergent extenuating circumstances.

  • Fees may be avoided in cases of illness, as protecting both families and providers is a priority, only if rescheduling.

 

Breast Pump Delivery:

  • Once a breast pump has been mailed or delivered (either by an employee or through postal service) the order cannot be canceled. This includes pumps that are billed to or covered by health insurance.

  • Rescheduling a delivery is allowed if it’s more than 24 hours before your scheduled delivery.

  • If your insurance claim is denied for any reason — including, but not limited to, already obtaining a breast pump through another company, ineligibility, or incomplete documentation — the full billed amount of $350 will be charged to the card on file, regardless of how much you paid for an upgrade fee.

 

Rescheduling:

  • Rescheduling is allowed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the owner, up to 3 times, and may only be rescheduled via texting Nurture Omaha at 402-915-1559.

  • After attempting to reschedule 3 times, the full session fee ($200) will be charged to the card on file.

 

Provider Cancellation Policy:

  • If Nurture Omaha must cancel an appointment for any reason, no charges to the client will apply. Nurture Omaha reserves the right to cancel appointments for any reason without notice. But please know that we will always try to notify our clients in the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, but emergencies can occur. We appreciate your understanding.

 

Credit Card On File Policy:

  • If you add a card on file that rejects our charge or expires before we charge your card, you will be sent a bill in the mail, which may go to collections if you do not pay by the due date.
