FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

How do I get a kit to operate the Symphony breast pump? - Reach out to Nurture Omaha by texting 402-915-1559 about 2 weeks before you return to work. If you are already back and need a kit immediately, there may be some extras available in the cabinet lower right of the sink (at Tower location only). Please scan the QR code on it to let us know you took it so we can keep an accurate supply at the Tower.

What if I need a replacement part? - Nurture Omaha has the caps and membranes that go on the Symphony pump as well as tubing, valves, and bottles available to purchase if you need a replacement. Text us at 402-915-1559 if you need something. All FNBO employees receive a 10% discount on pumps and pump parts that Nurture Omaha supplies.

What if the pump isn't working properly? - Try unplugging the pump for 2 minutes, then plug back in. If the pump is still having issues please contact Nurture Omaha by texting 402-915-1559 or emailing nurtureomaha@gmail.com to let us know which room it is in and we will contact HR to close down that room and we will come service the pump. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE PUMPS AROUND TO DIFFERENT ROOMS.

How do I need to clean the pump? - After you are finished pumping, please use the spray bottle or wipes in the rooms to wipe down the pump, pistons (where your membranes/caps attach to), table, and chair.

What if the room or pump is dirty? - Please do not use the room, and alert Nurture Omaha and Christine Lembo (clembo@fnbo.com) that the room needs attention and we will send someone to clean it.

What do I do with my pump parts and milk during the workday? - You may store your parts in a cubby of your choice (at the Tower), or in a cabinet at other locations. Please use the sink and soap provided if you need to wash your parts. Milk may be stored in the fridge or freezer (please properly label all milk bags or store them in a cooler with your name on it so that mix-ups don't happen. Milk should be taken home EVERY day at then end of your work day. We do monitor if milk has been in the fridge or freezer for a long time and we will toss it if it's been too long.

What if I have a complaint, comment, or request for the lactation suites? - Please fill out this form here. It is available 24/7 and is anonymous if you'd like to be.
